Overview

"A squint refers to a condition in which the eyes do not align in the right way. One eye may turns upwards, upwards, inwards, downwards, or outwards, while the other eyes focuses at a single place. in most cases, this happens due to the muscles that control eye movement and the eyelid, the extraocular muscles, are not functioning rightly at the same time. That is why both eyes are unable to look at the same spot simultaneously. Squint can be of various types such as:
• Exotropia - when the eye turns outwards
• Esotropia - when the eye turns inwards
• Hypertropia - when the eye turns upwards
• Hypotropia - when the eye turns downwards
